WANTED: Chief Project Engineer Manager

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the Company’s technical and planning operations. Specific emphasis will be placed on managing projects from contract acquisition through completion to ensure the financial success and on-time performance.
Employee will have the following specific project management responsibilities:
o Providing technical expertise and support to sales team during proposal phase including participating in client meetings and presentations
o Conducting detailed site inspections to develop CAD renderings and technical specifications for proposed projects
o Communicating across departments, and with outside vendors and subcontractors to establish workflows and timelines to ensure services are coordinated seamlessly
o Confirming and scheduling inventory and equipment availability and determining any custom fabrication or sub-rental needs
o Designing custom fabrications and installations, including job-costing, workflows and timelines for completion
o Conducting cost analysis and creating project budgets to assist sales team in proposal pricing
o Creating logistics plans for job execution including staffing, vehicles, machinery and equipment, and other resources
o Acquiring permits, approvals and clearances from building departments and other government authorities
o Managing and scheduling staff, vehicles, machinery and equipment throughout job execution
o Inspecting jobsites to ensure that fieldwork is progressing in accordance with established timelines, and complies with job specifications and quality standards
o Providing technical expertise and advice to onsite managers and work crews
o Ensuring that work-site is managed in accordance with permits and applicable safety standards
o Troubleshooting issues to facilitate timely completion of projects
o Communicating with clients and vendors to ensure expectations are being met
o Managing all aspects of job execution in accordance with established budgets
o Reporting significant changes or issues to CEO
o Assisting onsite managers and operations department with logistics and execution of dismantling, loading out, and re-warehousing inventory and equipment
o Ensuring timely return of all sub-rental inventory, machinery and equipment, and closing out third-party contracts
o Generating post-execution reporting including de-briefing information, photographs and documentation capturing any changes or deviations from plans for final invoicing and to assist in planning future projects
o Documenting financial and operational performance items for potential process improvements
General duties and responsibilities will include:
o Developing business strategies, plans and procedures to foster Company’s continued growth and financial success
o Creating and compiling budgets and financial projections
o Overseeing daily operations
o Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data
o Submitting financial reports and performance evaluations to the CEO
o Managing relationships with clients and vendors

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Engineering Management, or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship or similar with background in engineering
• 12 months experience in project management and/or operations management experience in the commercial tent industry or similar industry involving frame tent and clear span structures
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software strongly preferred
Full Time. Year Round. 9AM – 5PM.
